Dr. Drew Almodovar
Dr. Almodovar was born and raised in Southern California. He attended Pepperdine University earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. During his junior and senior year he was one of three student members of the Academic Integrity Committee. He continued his studies at the prestigious University of the Pacific, Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry, in San Francisco, CA. While there Dr. Almodovar was involved in various community outreach dental programs in the Bay Area. After graduating in 2013 with his Doctorate of Dental Surgery, he practiced in offices in San Diego and Orange County eventually settling in beautiful Costa Mesa.
His emphasis on patient comfort, listening to his patient's needs, and keeping up to date with the latest advancements in dentistry enable him to provide his patients with the highest quality of care. Dr. Almodovar has a wide range of experience in different areas of dentistry from cosmetic and restorative procedures to surgical treatment and implant restorations. Dr. Drew and his wife Charity reside in Huntington Beach with their two children. In his spare time Dr. Almodovar enjoys time with family, surfing, and running marathons.
Get to Know Dr. Susan Millar
Dr. Millar has been practicing dentistry for over 30 years. She received a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Cal Poly Pomona in 1987. Dr. Millar then attended University of California at San Francisco and there received her Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 1992. Following dental school, she completed a general practice residency at Loma Linda University. Dr. Millar has received advance training in dental implant surgery and restoration through Nobel Biocare. She also has also pursued over 500 hours of continuing education throughout her career, which enables Dr. Millar to provide patients with the best and most current knowledge, techniques, materials and procedures in dentistry.
Currently beyond her work in private practice at Almodovar Dentistry, Dr. Millar is an Assistant Professor at Western Health Sciences University, College of Dental Medicine. Additionally, she is a proud and long standing member of the Orange County Dental Society, California Dental Society, and American Dental Association.
